When you installed the Conditional Field Values App, you can access it in Zendesk Support.
From here you open the App and you can start building your first conditions.
But why would you use the App?
Here are a few real-world examples of how this helps:
Simplify Multi-Brand Management: When you manage multiple brands in Zendesk with similar—but not identical—categorization schemas, you typically have to create separate dropdown fields for each brand. While this works initially, global reporting becomes a headache because you have to aggregate metrics across multiple redundant fields.
Control Field Visibility per Team: Need specific dropdown options available to certain teams without exposing them to everyone, even when using the same ticket form? Standard Zendesk requires separate fields for each set of options, complicating field management and fragmenting your data.
Streamline Dynamic & Dependent Fields: Showing fields like Resolution Codes, Root Causes, or Asset IDs based on a user's previous selection usually requires complex conditional logic and a sprawl of duplicate fields.
Instead of wrestling with messy conditional rules and field bloat, our App lets you set up clean, dynamic ticket forms with ease.
